On June 21, 2008, we boarded an airplane to begin our journey across the Atlantic Ocean to Rome, Italy. Marco, Chance, Damen, and I arrived in Rome on June 22, 2008. We enjoyed site seeing at the Catacombs, the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountains, the Spanish Steps, the Ferrari store, Vatican City, St. Peters, and many other places. We also had the opportunity to swim in the Mediteranean Sea. It was all exciting and beautiful.
The best part though, was meeting Marco's family. His mother, Annamaria, his father, Angelo, his 3 brothers, Enrico, Gabrielle, and Davide, their wives, Maria, Madalena, and Rita, and his niece Alessandra, and his nephew, Andrea. They were all amazing, and nice, and totally accepting of me and my children. I can't wait to go back!
